DPA Overview
Effective Date: March 25, 2026
This page describes the general approach OmniRouters may take to a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for business customers, enterprise customers, and partners. This page is an informational overview and does not replace a separately executed DPA.
1. Who This Is For
If you are a business, team, or institutional customer and you submit, store, or process personal information through OmniRouters, and your legal or compliance requirements call for a separate data processing agreement, you may request our standard DPA.
2. Roles
Depending on the context:
- for customer business data submitted to OmniRouters for processing under your instructions, you will generally act as the controller or data user, and OmniRouters will generally act as the processor or data processor
- for account registration, billing, fraud prevention, support, audit, and platform security data, OmniRouters may act as an independent controller or data user for its own legitimate business purposes
3. Topics Typically Covered
Our standard DPA may address topics such as:
- scope, purpose, data categories, and duration of processing
- customer instructions, role allocation, and compliance responsibilities
- confidentiality and access controls
- security measures, incident response, and notification
- subprocessors and third-party processor management
- data export, return, deletion, and retention
- cross-border transfer safeguards
- post-termination obligations
4. How to Request a DPA
If you require a DPA, please contact:
- Business:
business@omnirouters.com
To help us review the request efficiently, please include:
- company or organization name
- account details and primary point of contact
- services in scope
- categories of data involved and the main use case
- your principal legal jurisdictions or compliance requirements
5. Order of Precedence
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the public Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable order forms, quotations, and service documents continue to apply. If a DPA is separately executed, it will be interpreted together with those materials and will govern to the extent expressly stated in that agreement.
